About Me

I currently work as an AI Engineer at Ghelia Inc, where I play a dual role in both client engagement and internal R&D:

  • Client-Facing AI Solutions
    • Collaborate directly with clients to identify and define AI-related problems.
    • Propose end-to-end solutions, including technical design and man-hour estimates.
    • Serve as both Tech Lead and Engineering Lead, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing day-to-day progress, and delivering final reports.
  • Lead internal R&D projects
    • Initiate in-house R&D projects aligned with emerging client needs and company strategic goals
    • Execute research plans from ideation to prototyping

Professional interests

My primary research focus is on computer vision, with a particular interest in areas intersecting with physics. Recently, I have concentrated on:

  • Human Action Recognition and Anticipation: Developing methods to analyze and predict human actions in video sequences
  • Multi-View Geometry & 3D Reconstruction: Advancing techniques for reconstructing three-dimensional models from multi-view imagery

Before I transitioned to the ML/AI field, I was an experimental physicist with primarily focuses in:

  • Semiconductor and optical physics with their applications in solar energy
  • Numerical Modeling
  • Novel semiconductor characterization techniques

Side projects

In my free time, I enjoy working on mini projects that allow me to experiment with new ideas. I document many of these projects on my blog, which you can explore in my Medium
